Thai Massage is an ancient traditional healing massage. GEM aims to balance the body’s energy channels (SEN). Blockages in these channels can cause discomfort, pain, even illness.
GEM has studied extensively in Thailand and offers both Northern and Southern techniques in Thai massage.
GEM uses her hands, fingers, thumbs, palm, elbows, knees and feet, to apply firm rhythmic pressure along SEN energy lines and specific acupressure points.
This allows GEM to go deep into the mechanical functions of the body to deal with deep muscle, joint stiffness and tight tendons.
GEM gently guides her clients through a series of yoga type stretches to increase flexibility, improve range of movement and balance SEN energy channels.
This massage addresses a multitude of conditions relating to the body, mind, spirit and energy flow. It is an incredible massage that all should try. Although this is a deep rheumatic treatment techniques can be adjusted to client’s threshold.
